MBR Membrane Bioreactor System
Product Overview
The MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) combines biological treatment with membrane filtration to produce high-quality, reuse-grade effluent in a compact footprint.
Working Principle
Biological treatment degrades organic matter while immersed ultrafiltration or microfiltration membranes physically separate treated water from biomass, replacing conventional clarifiers and delivering very low suspended solids and turbidity.
Key Features
- Integrated biological treatment and membrane separation
- Reuse-grade, low-turbidity effluent
- Small footprint with high biomass concentration
- No secondary clarifier required
Advantages
- Excellent and consistent effluent quality
- Ideal where space is limited or water reuse is required
- Modular and expandable

Frequently Asked Questions
Is MBR effluent suitable for reuse?
Yes. After disinfection it is typically suitable for irrigation, flushing or cooling.
Does MBR need a clarifier?
No. The membranes replace the secondary clarifier.
What maintenance do membranes need?
Periodic cleaning to manage fouling; intervals depend on feed water and operation.
